AVENUE Q IS THE ULTIMATE SHIT!!!
I was looking around the internet the other day, and I found the Avenue Q website. (http://www.avenueq.com) I'd heard of Avenue Q a while ago, when someone used their song "If You Were Gay" in a Gravitation AMV. I kinda forgot about it for a while, and then I fell in love with it when I found the site again.
It's a Broadway show. I think the best way to describe it would be Sesame Street on crack, but even that doesn't cover it. It's a big, perverted, politically in-correct dirty joke. It's actually done with puppets, with the puppeteers clearly visible onstage, singing for the puppets. I want to see it so bad. They've taking up permanent residence in New York and Las Vegas, so when I get older, I'm taking the ultimate road trip. I downloaded some video clips off the website, and after watching them for a while, it actually gets to the point where you see puppets singing and humans standing next to them moving their mouths a lot. It has songs like "If You Were Gay", "Everyone's a Little Bit Racist", "The Internet is for Porn", and "You Can Be As Loud As the Hell You Want (When You're Makin' Love)". The song on this site is called "Schadenfreude". It's one of my favorites right now. I went on Limewire and downloaded the entire album.
Like Sesame Street, it has the colorful humans, and even two monsters. Kate, the kindergarten teaching assistant who wants to open a school for monsters, and Trekkie, the internet porn addict. It's just hysterical. I highly recommend you look in up!
As far as my life is concerned, I'm doing pretty good. I don't get to see Angelo much anymore, since it's summer, and I really miss him. I'm stuck at home all day by myself, and it gets SOOOO BORING!!! I've started sleeping until 2 or 3 in the afternoon so I don't have so much time on my hands. My only condolence is watching anime on my computer. I recently started the anime Spiral, and it's really good. Go look it up.
Not much else to say, I guess. Comment, loves!
-"D'ja ever clap when a waitress falls / And drops a tray of glasses? / And ain't it fun to watch figure skaters / Fallin' on their asses? / Don't you feel all warm and cozy / Watching people out in the rain? / That's shadenfreude! / People taking pleasure in your pain."
